Innovation and technology for Emmerre

Emmerre, which has been producing and distributing adaptable spare parts for commercial, industrial and trailers for over 40 years, Daf, Iveco, Man, Mercedes, Nissan, Renault, Scania, Volvo, Bpw, Ror and Saf, has been creating a robotic line for a few months for assembly and quality control of wheel hubs complete with FAG or SKF bearings and phonic wheels.

As you can see in the video, through robots and assembly presses, the system automatically assembles the wheel hubs with the related components. The robot, consisting of 2 automated mechanical arms, first picks up the hub, then the wheel bearing: both are positioned on the assembly press together with the tone wheel. Subsequently, each individual hub is automatically tested and tested to guarantee 100% quality control.
