Solutions for Cleaned fuel
Keeping the diesel clean is more important today than ever.
Basically, diesel can be contaminated with dust, dirt, metal particles, water and rust, microbes, additives and fibers.
How can you get a clean diesel?
Clean diesel is obtained by filtering the fuel starting from when it’s delivered, protecting it from environmental dirt and humidity during storage, and filtering it again when dispensing into the equipment. This reduces injector wear and other related engine problems.
With Donaldson filter systems it is possible to filter the diesel fuel entering the distributors, in order to pump it clean into the equipment.
Donaldson offers clean diesel kits that are easy to install on any fuel dispenser and come with everything you need to filter out even the finest contaminants before they enter the power supply system of your equipment.
For the correct functioning of the machinery, the use of a filtering system is necessary because:
- Helps reduce the downtime
- Protects expensive fuel injection systems
- Prevents premature clogging of diesel filters on board the vehicle
- Reduces maintenance costs
- Increases the life of the filters
Furthermore, the removal of contaminants through fuel filtration before pumping fluids into the machinery allows the on-board filtration systems to do their job better and at the same time supports the most advanced technologies required by the latest regulations.
Donaldson filter systems are:
- Easy to install
- The ISO 14/13/11 filtration criteria for cleaning diesel fuel follow
- Recommended for all blends of diesel and biodiesel
- Kits available to handle flow rates from 122 lpm (32 gpm) to 473 lpm (125 gpm)
